Early Life & Karting
- Palou began his racing career in karting at the age of six in 2003.
- He won six karting titles, including the WSK Euro Series in the KF3 class in 2012.
Open-Wheel Racing Career
- Palou transitioned to open-wheel racing, starting in the Euroformula Open Series with Campos Racing.
- He achieved success in various series, including Spanish Formula 3, GP3, Japanese Formula 3, and Super Formula.
- He was the 2019 Rookie of the Year in Super Formula.
INDYCAR Career
- Alex began his INDYCAR career with Dale Coyne Racing in 2020, earning a podium in his rookie season.
- In 2021, he joined Chip Ganassi Racing and won the INDYCAR SERIES championship, adding titles in 2023 and 2024.
- Palou is the first Spaniard to win both the INDYCAR championship and the Indianapolis 500, and the first since 2007 to clinch the title before the season finale.
